We Identify the Root Cause of the Problem.

First, we establish a goal or a place where you want to be. Then, we define the source of the problem or issue to find our starting point. This involves careful, in-depth analysis, and requires both the third-party objective perspective we can provide along with the knowledge of your executives, managers and workers.

We Understand the Need for Confidentiality.

Everyone involved in the problem must provide input into the solution. This step may involve gathering information and data from a variety of personnel. WIN is very sensitive to potential issues that can arise when discussing perceived weaknesses of management and associates. We understand the need for confidentiality and the very careful handling of this potentially explosive process. Our years of experience and well-developed survey skills have taught us how to discover the information necessary without causing additional strain on participants or worsening the original situation. On- or off-site training and workshops may be recommended to enhance the consultation and analysis process.

We Develop a Strategic Plan.

Following an in-depth analysis to get to the source of the problem, we work with you to develop a strategic plan to get from your problem state to your identified goal state. The effect of the problem and the effects of potential resolutions must be considered. All contributing factors are taken into account. Cultural factors are identified.

The completed strategic plan outlines measures to be taken, steps to be followed, and priorities. Solutions can be quick or may take longer. A short training session for Japanese and/or American managers or a quick-fix strategy and tactical session with management may do the job. A longer-term solution may involve the development and implementation of a strategy for corporate growth and/or restructuring.
